June 4th 98 in Denver, Colorado was the first time I saw Slayer and let me tell
you it was the shit! It was at the Ogden Theater, and the place kind of reminded
me of an old movie theater. There were four levels all rising up from the stage.
It was cool to actually look down and see Slayer thrash. They opened with Hell
Awaits and a burst of smoke set the place off.
