Two words: FUCKING AWESOME! From beginning to end it was a pure
energy rush. Slayer did not disappoint it's crowd. The guitars, bass
and drums all sounded great and as far as the performance on stage,
nobody does it better that Slayer (I loved it when they all headbanged
at the same time).
Kerry was wearing an Other Side Jackass T-shirt (Stone Cold Steve Austin), Tom always with his plain black shirt, Paul with no shirt, and Jeff with a white tang top. It was one of the best concerts that I have been too this year. The lights were good, but they did not have that green light that usually goes under Tom chin to give him an evil look. If you are a true Slayer it is really worth going to see them live, but here is a tip, do not go into the mosh pit. Slayers' mosh pits are the craziest I have ever seen (I thought Pantera's are crazy, they are nothing compared to Slayer's). Rating (out of 10): 9 I took one point because they did not play Killing Fields and Seasons In The Abyss, and these songs are a couple of my fav's, and they are amazing when played live. |
