Got to go to SLAYER Wednesday August 26th in Cleveland and the weather was perfect
for an outside show.
Saw Paul back by the Buses when I was walking to the grounds, I was 5 feet from him and some young girls were talking with him so we left, but he was very nice to everyone there. Kilgore and Fear Factory opened. I didnt care for these bands. Fear Factory songer either growls or when he does song, it sounded and looked like his voice was being electroniclly enhanced. Crowd response was good though. Slayer hit the stage right 9:00pm (yes it was dark out then) Crowd of course went nuts and the sound again was loudest I have been in front of (I was 50 feet from stage) Slayer Opened with the 1st 2 songs off the new CD and then played for 1.5 hours. After the show Slayer came out and threw picks and sticks to the crowd for 5 minutes or so (half way through show I lost track on the order of some of the songs, ther might of been a few more songs but I dont remeber now ;) |
