November 13th 1998 Vernier Sur Rock Festival Switzerland
Review
First I want to tell you that Sur Rock Fest means a weekend full of different musicans and bands. The other bands are not of interest for readers of this website. The most important day was the friday of this weekend, and that was the "Kick Ass Day" with Slayer, Sepultura, System Of A Down.

I don`t want to replay the gigs of the special guest because I already told what happened in Milano on Nov.3 1998. Please feel free to e-mail me with questions if you`re not familiar with the german language! O.K. here we go: In Milano there were approximately 9000 hysterical fans.

At this place there have been around 1500 people which was cool because it comes close to a "clubshow". Slayer did no soundcheck this day, they arrived very lately, around 7.45 p.m. Kerry, Paul and Jeff checked out the stage briefly. At 8.30.p.m. the doors opened. Man, they came in like the lions in old Rome did, to get into the first rows. Mostly of the people liked S.O.A.D. They surely liked Sepultura, of course, we sweated like motherf......!

Around 11.30.p.m. Slayer hit the stage, and the sound was far away better than in Milano. Don`t believe it Italian friends? Listen to my tapes!
