Well I showed up to the concert just in time to see
Mudvayne, which suprised me. They were pretty damn
good. Most of the second stage bands sucked, except
for Hatebreed who were pretty good. Sepultura was
pretty good, but I didn't even see Sevendust. I was to
busy gettin stuff sighned by Hatebreed.
After Sevendust got off me and my friend worked our way to the front row, and waited about 30 minutes until Slayer came on. Paul came out and everyone started going crazy, then they jumped into War Ensemble. I was about 5 feet away from Kerry King who was wearing leather pants and a shirt with a pentagram on it. It was fucking great. They went into Bitter Peace and Death's Head. Mud was flying fucking everywhere. And here's what really pissed me off. In the middle of Death's Head a big ass piece of mud hit Tom right in the fucking face! He finished the song, then afterwards he said, "You obviously don't like what we're playing, since your throwing shit up here". They played another song and mud was still flying. After the song he took the camera guys video camera and taped the audience throwing mud. Before he went into Mandatory Suicide he said, "This is for all you faggots in the middle". It was pretty funny. Overall I thought it was a great show, except for the whole mud thing. This is my second time seeing them and I can't wait to go see Slayer again. |
