Review
Earls Court was a metal fest, The best two bands in the world in the same venue, so the place was packed with Maiden and Slayer shirts and the atmosphere was intence. The atmosphere was almost crushed by the discovery of the crowd barrier placed 100yrds from the stage, but luckily the security gave in and let a load of us up to the front barrier. On the front row I stood through Entombed who's sound was terrible, although their setlist and energy made up for it.

But no-one could give a fuck as everyone waited for Slayer. The band walk on stage, Jeff in his Motocross leg armour; and launch into opener Mandatory Suicide and blow the pit into a frenzy, straight into War Ensemble Kerry and Jeff trade places on stage as the crowd step up a gear. The set list is full of classics. Although Tom slowly sings the chorus to Dead Skin Mask before introducing it as done on Decade Of Aggression a couple of people tell him to get on with it.

Throughout the whole song Tom is staring at me as I scream along with him. Me and Jeff trade devil horns throughout the set. No surprise they air Bitter Peace and Stain of Mind, as well as Here Comes The Pain, I'm just annoyed I don't know the words. The place erupts as they drive into one of the heaviest intros ever: Hell Awaits, the biggest surprise of the night. South of Heaven sets us up before bringing the set to a close with Angel of Death.

As a bonus my girlfriend got one of Paul's sticks! Bitch. Maiden also played an amazing set. I just wish I could have been at the show in Nottingham the night before. A Crack smokin', Satan worshipin' 10/10
