Review
Slayer were the only band playing tonight, they have just played in Katowice on Ozzfest on May 29th, this was their extra show in Poland.

I had never had a chance to see them in such a small place, Stodola Club holds about 2000 people. I have waited for that concert since I first found out they were gonna play there.

Killed a few beers before the show and was feeling pretty good. They started with Darkness of Christ and went into God Hates us all, they crowd went nuts, the sound was killer and the band looked awesome, as good as ever, they are getting older but they are like good wine , the older the better. I forget the order of songs, (since I killed a few beers before) I think Hell awaits was next or mabe it was War ensamble , either way, it was amazing, all the people were into it, the pit was huge and as always there were a couple of skinheads slamming the shit out of everybody , no suprise there , Slayer makes you go crazy, nobody was getting hurt though, well maybe a few bloody noses, over all there is a solidarity among Slayer fans. During Paybeck I couldn't take it anymore and I went into the pit myself, there is no Slayer show without few bruses on your body, hell yeah , Payback kicked some major ass, I knew they were gonna play it , it's the best song on God Hates Us All ( can you say best when it comes to Slayer? (SLAYER=BEST) the whole damn show was THE BEST, it was Slayer wasn't it? They played all the Slayer standards , Stain of Mind from Diabolus in Musica and about 5 songs from God hates us all, Bloodline, New Faith, Payback,

Darkness of Christ+God Hates us all, and a bunch of songs from their first 5 albums, nothing of off Divine Intervention, they could have played Dittohead but oh well. During Seasons in the Abyss I saw this chick on the balcony in her black bra and long black hair going crazy, I get a kick out of seeing good looking chicks getting off to Slayer, its about time some girls started coming to Slayer shows not to Bon fucking Jovi. The crowd loved the show and was singing every song together with Tom, Kerry King was his usual self looking like an angry PITBULL with a guitar, the sound was really good considering that I have seen a couple of shows in this venue, and the sound always sucked, not this time, the solos were crisp, the drums sounded good, Dave Lombardo on drums , what else can be said? For an achore I ended up against the barrier, not too shabby, they played South of Heaven and Angel of Death back to back, it was insane, South of Heaven is a psychotic song as it is,but tonight it was even more intense and crazy not even mentioning Angel of Death - all hell breaks loose - and indeed it did!

I cought Dave Lombardo's drum stick, well there were 5 of us that cought it but I ended up with it in the end and I am proud of it, true , I had to wrestle the other 4 guys but who cares, I got Lombardo's drum stick! The show was over, The Gods disappeared into darkness, I went straight to the bar to get another beer, I was so thirsty I could have drank the whole lake of beer ( wouldn't tha be fun), All of the people were amazed how good and professional thses guys are.

Like I' ve mentioned before, the guys in Slayer are getting older but they haven't lost their edge like most of the bands that started the trash scene in the 80's. Ain't no shame in going to Slayer concert ,no matter what age you are! GOD HATES US ALL!
