Review
The big four for the first time in history!!!!! and it happened in Warsaw,Poland.

Behemoth opened up the show, played a short 30 minutes set, they seem to be used to such a great stage. Anthrax were next, with Belladonna back, they really played a killer show, I was a bit surprised how energetic they were, which is good. Megadeth was next, played the whole Rust in Peace plus few more songs, not bad at all.

Slayer was next, just before Metallica, they started out with World Painted Blood the first song on the new album, the sound in the very beginning was awful, the crowd got into it right off the first note which is not so obvious when you look at footage of the performance on you tube, the whole place was divided into sections so you may not see the whole picture on you tube.

The sound got better as Slayer was pounding one song after another, the thing that impressed me the most was the sound of Lombardo's drums, perfect, you were able to hear every beat and since I was close to the stage I was also able see him play, very nice job, long live the king!!!!!

They played Hate Worldwide from the new album and maybe for the first time they played Beauty Through Order, the rest was a mixture of newer and older material, the best response from the crowd went to Dead Skin Mask and Mandatory Suicide, and later to Angel of Death, South of Heaven and Reign in Blood, a nice surprise was Chemical Warfare, I don't thing the younger crowd, keep in mind a big chunk of people were there for Metallica, did not recognize the song as it is almost 30 years old.

Tom Araya did not say a lot as usual, you could tell he was happy to see such a great response and "such an energetic crowd", also, Chile won its first game at the World Cup 2010 , Tom was wearing red Chilean soccer jersey for this occasion.

Great evening although I wish Slayer played longer and not in the daylight so they can use all the smoke and lights to create the Diabolus atmosphere. Metallica played a two hour set with all the lights, a big screen in the back , all the pyrotechnics and flames etc. they did not disappoint at all.
