South american tour may happen without Jeff Hanneman
Tuesday, May 24th 2011
A spokesperson for Slayer revealed to Slayerized.com that it is not very likely that Jeff Hanneman will join the band for the upcoming south american tour which kicks off next week (June 2nd) in Santiago, Chile. A replacement guitarist hasn't been officially named but rumors say that it will be once again Gary Holt of Exodus.

Jeff Hanneman had to sit out all of the bands tours this year due to an infection on his right arm caused by a spider bite. Although not fully recovered he made a surprise appearance at the "Big 4" festival in Indio, CA last month where he played the last two songs of the set "South Of Heaven" and "Angel Of Death".
