Slayer covered the Exodus classic "Strike of the Beast" last night in Mountain View, CA, check out the video footage below. Slayer are currently part of the "Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival" which consists of Slipknot, Motörhead and Anthrax plus others (full tour schedule here).

Slayer unveiled a new stage setup when the tour started on Saturday in San Bernardino, CA. The stage now consists of two large upside down crosses made of Marshall amps.

Gary Holt of Exodus is once again filling in for Jeff Hanneman who is currently recovering from an infection on his right arm caused by a spider bite in January 2011.
