| It is now official that Slayer will play their only scandinavian show on June 27th in Stockholm at the Stockholm Stadium together with Iron Maiden! This venue holds about 30.000 people, so this will be a real big event! Also check the Recent Tourdates for this! |

Slayer have been confirmed for another festival! This time it's the Waldrock Festival in the Netherlands on July 1st! For more info like ticket order check out the Recent Tourdates!
In other news I got told that on the song Goddamn Electric where Kerry King played the solo on the new Pantera album the lyrics are saying "...you trust in whisky, weed, and SLAYER...". Kerry is also credited in the thanklist of that album! If you want to buy the album check out the Release Schedule! |

Kerry King said the following about the upcoming album in a recent issue of Metal Hammer:
"As well as re-recording The Antichrist, we might also record stuff like Necrophiliac for the boxset. It may also feature some of Jeff's 4-track demos, which has guitar, bass, drums and vocals in it. It will be interesting for the fans to see a bit of the working prosess. The new album will have a lot of that reign in blood\south of heaven feel in it, but like Diabolus it will also feature a few surprises." In other news Tom Araya had been in studio together with Max Cavalera to record a song for the upcoming Soulfly album. The song is supposed to be called "Terrorist", the album is going to be released around August/September. Also it has been confirmed that Slayer will play at Earl's Court in London, UK together with Iron Maiden on June 16th! Please also check the Recent Tourdates for this! |

Slayer are playing some sort of festival shows together with Iron Maiden (once again...), Motorhead and the Spiritual Beggars in Germany! These events will take place on July 8th at the Maimarktgelaende in Mannheim and on July 9th at the Georg-Melches-Stadion in Essen. Please also check the Recent Tourdates for a phone number where you can order tickets for these two shows!
Don't miss these 2 events since they will lead Slayer into two real big german arenas which doesen't happen that often! |

| Slayer will play another festival in europe! This time it's the Graspop Metal Meeting 2000 in Dessel, Belgium on June 24th! The headliner of this festival will once again be the almighty Iron Maiden (ironmaiden.com). Also check the Recent Tourdates for this! |

There's a TV commercial for a company called Half.com that is all about Slayer's Diabolus in Musica album!
It starts with a girl at a party with her girlfriends, as a present she gets the Diabolus in Musica CD and says "What am I going to do with this?" And then someone says "You should sell it!", and she goes "Where???". Next you see a website with a big picture of the Diabolus in Musica cover and price information and a mouse cursor clicking to buy it. The next scene is in germany with two excited german guys at a computer talking in german with subtitles. One of them says: "I'm getting the new Slayer CD" or something like that, and the other one chimes in with ""Slayer is the best!!" |

News Topic #1 Anybody who didn't like the OzzFest lineup last year (e.g. to much wannabe bands) can give in their suggestions about this summer's tour. You can send an e-mail to Ozzy@artistdirect.com with the bands you'd like to see playing at the OzzFest 2000. Maybe if we send enough mails Slayer could be part of it again!
News Topic #2 The band is currently locked up in rehearsals for our brand new album we'll get it out there soon! There's a possibility of us playing a few festivals in Europe this summer once the record is in the can, and then a full US tour to follow.
