| Slayer was on VH1's Bad Ass Countdown, and they were ranked #14 out of 40 as being the most bad ass. They had a little segment on them interviewing Kerry King, and he asked if he gets a button saying "I'm A Bad Ass". He also talked about the dude carving SLAYER in his arm on the Live Intrusion Video and nailing food to the ceiling in a hotel room a long time ago. |

As it seems the new Slayer album has been pushed back once again. The following was transcribed from a metal magazine:
"The mighty and eternal SLAYER are currently writing for their forthcoming full-length, due in early 2001. According to bassist/vocalist Tom Araya, "We've got six or seven songs waiting for words right now." Slayer plans on writing five or six more songs before starting work on the new record." | 92.3 Krock Radio from New York is reporting that Slayer will play Madison Square Garden together with Iron Maiden on August 5th. Great, but there's one thing, Slayer are scheduled to play a show in Charlotte on the Tattoo the Earth Tour the same day. So I really don't know what's true now, but I'll keep you informed, as always! |

| There are rumors that Slayer will be part of this years Tattoo the Earth Tour which includes bands like Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Sevendust and others (no comment). Remember this is just a rumor, Slayer's management has given absolutely NO confirmation about this. Don't believe what you read on other sites! |
