The American TV network, VH-1, is currently running a show called The Top 100 Hard Rock Bands. Slayer is located at #50. They showed live footage of Slayer performing Raining Blood. They also showed a short interview clip with Tom Araya commenting on Slayer. He said, "Slayer is a band with a very dark image. I write about society, and all the stupid and ridiculous things I see in society. That is what Slayer is about".
They also featured some short comments about Slayer from other artists. Sebastian Bach from Skid Row said, "Slayer is a band that should scare you. If you listen to the riff from Hell Awaits, that is one of the heaviest guitar riffs ever written". Scott Ian from Anthrax commented, "Slayer is the soundtrack for hell. If you were to go to hell, this is what it should sound like". |

The Slayer show from June 27th which took place at the Stockholm Stadium in Stockholm (Sweden) will be broadcasted on radio! It will be aired on the Swedish radiostation P3 on November 23rd at 9.03pm (CET).
