Slayer's new album God hates us all has been pushed back for a July 9th release in Europe and a July 10th release in the USA. In related news Slayer will do some warm up shows for the Extreme Steel Tour in little clubs. Check the Tourdates for more info.

In other news Europe will see the Tattoo the Earth 2001 Europe tour in September / October, which will feature Pantera, Slayer, Cradle of Filth and Sepultura. The tour will run from September 14th to October 6th. Check out the Tourdates for more info. (More dates to be announced!)

Slayer will perform about six songs at a select number of fan based/media events at exotic locations across Europe. These performances are intended to be a "Slayer returns to their roots" type gigs and are the only time the band will ever play in a small clubs in Europe. This jaunt will begin on May 21st in Warsaw, Poland and will wrap up on June 1st in Stockholm, Sweden.

I have received the following info:

"Slayer guitarist Kerry King is tentatively set to guest appear on a track on the forthcoming new Rob Zombie effort, currently being recorded in Hollywood, CA with producer Scott Humphrey (Powerman 5000, Spineshank). Kerry is expected to head to the studio next week, while the album is planned for a fall release through Geffen."
